A Rotterdam-based art organization CELL -Initiators of Incidents- has produced the permanent version of the Hole in the Earth at the square Diergaardesingeldriehoek, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. CELL office was located in front of this square. It is located in the central area of Rotterdam, surrounded by multicultural societies. The reformation of the square was supported by the City of Rotterdam.

As it was promised, the installation has been running for 1 year (365 days)with the connection with Bandung, Indonesia.

the market square in front of the mosque Daarut Tauhid

An Islamic village which is formed around the Islamic school Daarut Tauhiid has hosted the installation. The installation has been placed at the small square of the Mini-Market, just across the street from their mosque. For further detail see development & realisation .

A motivated artist-initiative Jejaring Artnetworkers in Bandung, Indonesia has performed the local production and maintenance.

Technical maintenance has been operated by Driebit(NL), with the specially-formed maintenance team in Bandung(Adi, Waskito, Taufiq, Basuki).
